Exterminate! Exterminate! Exterminate!
These nails were done by me! My cousin and I are major Doctor Who fans. I promised her I would do her nails and thought Daleks would look super amazing! I also thought it would be amazing if I shared with you guys a tutorial on how simple it is to recreate this look!
You need 2 nail polish colors, top coat, nail glue, nail polish remover, nail brush, doter, cutical scissors, tweezers, nail gems, nail stripping tape, & shot glass (or something to drip nail polish on).
Lets Get started! Now you can make your Daleks what ever color you choose. She chose once upon a time by wet & wild. So I applied one coat to each nail. While waiting for the nails to dry I cut the nail striping tape about the width of her nail. Make sure you cut enough for each nail to have two stripes if you have longer nails you could do more. Using tweezers apply the nail striping tape close to the nail bed leaving enough room for a gem to be placed in the center later. Apply the second nail striping tape under the first leaving a little space between the two stripes. After you have placed all of your stripes on all of your nails use cutical scissors to cut off the excess tape. Now time for the Dalek bumps. I used the bottom of a shot glass to add a couple of drops of love my blackberry by ulta, It makes it easier to dip your doter in. I started adding dots to the center then worked my way outward so they didn't look lopsided. After dotting all the dalek bumps get your nail glue and place a dot of it in the center close to your nail bed. Then carefully add your gem to make the dalek eye stalk. Almost done! I then used a nail paint brush and dipped it into nail polish remover to clean up any mistakes. Add two layers of top coat and you're done.
I have made a Luvocracy collection and put everything you need in it. If you sign up for your free @luvocracy account you can purchase everything from one website! Simple as that!!!
*If you recreate this look tweet it to me @sweetberber with #berbersnails and I'll retweet/favorite them.*

Lips Lips Lips
When it comes to lip products I don't venture out much when it comes to colors. When I was younger and started wearing makeup I would only wear brown tones. It would be from a light nude to a really dark brown color. Well I got older, braver and a little curious. So I ventured out in to the all of the pinks and that leads me to today. I have been very curious as to how the color red would look on me. Hmmmmm.
Another thing I've been picky about with my lip products is if I should wear lip gloss, lipstick, or lip stain. The thing with lip gloss is many of them can be sticky and feel kind of thick on your lips. I don't own many glosses or wear them that often, when I do wear them it's usualy over a lipstick or stain. I prefer lipsticks over glosses. The color pay off is a whole lot better and lipsticks also have a smoother formulal. But I have to say my favorite are the lip stains. Lip stains stay on your lips the longest (duh it's staining your lips). I don't have to worry about touching up as offten as if I wear lip gloss or lip stick. The only complaint I have about stains is they can make your lips feel dry, but a little burts bees or baby lips helps that problem.
(Who knew I had so much opinions on lip products *^_^*)
That leads me to the reason I am makeing this post. I have been wanting to try the show off lip lacquer by Rimmel London. The website says 'it's not a lipstick or a gloss' and that it has 'a satin smooth shine'. I scored big when I found them on sale at walgreens, buy one get one half off! So of course I bought 2! I bought one pink (nova) and one red (big bang)! I tryed big bang yesterday, here is my first reaction! It's such a pretty vibrant red color. The formula is amazing! It goes on silky smooth! There is no stickiness to it and you can't even tell you have anything on your lips (unless you look in a mirror). I would, and want to, buy the rest of the colors. :)
The show off lip lacquers come in 13 shades. They cost about 5 dollars each. You can buy them at Walgreens, Walmart, CVS, or Target. If you get a chance to pick one up I'm sure you wont be disappointed.

Rimmel London Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation
I have to say I was hesitant at first because in not a huge fan of foundation. I am, however, a fan of Rimmel London's products, absolutely love the Stay Matte Powder, so I gave it a shot. This new Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation says that it's not heavy or greasy, both have been problems I've had with foundation before.
I applied a pea size amount of the foundation and was super surprised that I didn't feel like I was wearing a mask! The Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation went on so smooth and blended in with my skin very well! It left my skin looking flawless!
