Lips Lips Lips

When it comes to lip products I don't venture out much when it comes to colors. When I was younger and started wearing makeup I would only wear brown tones. It would be from a light nude to a really dark brown color. Well I got older, braver and a little curious. So I ventured out in to the all of the pinks and that leads me to today. I have been very curious as to how the color red would look on me. Hmmmmm.

Another thing I've been picky about with my lip products is if I should wear lip gloss, lipstick, or lip stain. The thing with lip gloss is many of them can be sticky and feel kind of thick on your lips. I don't own many glosses or wear them that often, when I do wear them it's usualy over a lipstick or stain. I prefer lipsticks over glosses. The color pay off is a whole lot  better and lipsticks also have a smoother formulal. But I have to say my favorite are the lip stains. Lip stains stay on your lips the longest (duh it's staining your lips). I don't have to worry about touching up as offten as if I wear lip gloss or lip stick. The only complaint I have about stains is they can make your lips feel dry, but a little burts bees or baby lips helps that problem.

(Who knew I had so much opinions on lip products *^_^*)

That leads me to the reason I am makeing this post. I have been wanting to try the show off lip lacquer by Rimmel London. The website says 'it's not a lipstick or a gloss' and that it has 'a satin smooth shine'. I scored big when I found them on sale at walgreens, buy one get one half off! So of course I bought 2! I bought one pink (nova) and one red (big bang)! I tryed big bang yesterday, here is my first reaction! It's such a pretty vibrant red color. The formula is amazing! It goes on silky smooth! There is no stickiness to it and you can't even tell you have anything on your lips (unless you look in a mirror). I would, and want to, buy the rest of the colors. :)
The show off lip lacquers come in 13 shades. They cost about 5 dollars each. You can buy them at Walgreens, Walmart, CVS, or Target. If you get a chance to pick one up I'm sure you wont be disappointed.
